I recently had a burst of inspiration for ways to create various styles of filigree. The Christmas Spirit hit me at the same time, so I decided to use my French Beaded Holly design to play. This is an Advanced Level class. It will assume that students are already familiar with the Beginner and Intermediate level techniques listed in the “Requirements,” and have a fair amount of wire handling skills. All of the required techniques are taught for free in the “Learn” section of my website.
This class teaches my Holly design in full, the Spokes Technique, and also teaches four different technique combinations that can be used to create open, lacy design elements (photos below). As a special bonus in the video class, I will even show you my process in how I designed the filigrees so you can take what you learn in this class and apply it to other patterns.
One student per purchase. Video Class and PDF included. The PDF can be downloaded, but the videos are not downloadable.
In order to purchase the class, you will need an account on my website. This is necessary to get back into the class at any time. To access the class after purchasing, login to your account, then go to My Account >> Classes. Or, login then find the class on the main “Video Classes” page. After purchasing, a tab will show up right below the display picture called “Resources”. This is where you will download the Jolly Holly PDF Pattern.
