French Beaded Roses – a new and exciting design from the Bead & Blossom studio!
This PDF is 18 pages long and contains 77 high quality images along with detailed written instructions to help you create your own French Beaded Roses.
There are four different rose sizes included:
- Small (approximately 3 inches wide)
- Medium (approximately 3 1/2 inches wide)
- Large (approximately 4 3/4″ wide)
You should be familiar with these French Beading Techniques:
These techniques are taught for free in the Learn French Beading section of my website.
You should also be comfortable with assembling flowers.
This pattern will also introduce a new technique called “Y-Frame”, which is a combination of the Basic Frame and Spoke Frame techniques.
The PDF is written in English using both Imperial and Metric terms for measurement.

The chart below gives the material amounts per rose in each size. Multiply the amounts by how many of each size you are including in your arrangement. The arrangement on the cover has 1 Large Rose, 2 Medium Roses, 2 Small Roses, and 2 Buds.
I always recommend purchasing extra beads and wire to allow for variance in individual technique and to make up for any differences in weight from one brand of beads to another.
